Paintings
Painting was my passion from the early childhood. It exerted a strong influence on building my personality, my philosophical views and the way how I see things around me. Though I never considered a professional carrier of an artist for myself, painting has always been a significant part of my life. I created more than 150 oil paintings. They reflect my interpretation of surrounding reality. Most of them were acquired by private collectors from Europe years ago, and unfortunately I lost track of them. But at least I know that my paintings are helping other people to look at our world differently, and it seems to me more important than knowing who owns my works now.

Random thoughts...

I believe that every person needs to have an ability to express himself by some kind of means; this is a part of our human nature. We can't keep our thoughts and our views inside; we have to show them to other people somehow. For me painting is one way of sharing my philosophy and my impression of what is happening around us with those who are interested.

If you take a look at my paintings you can see right away that they are not just mere reflections of objects or scenes surrounding us. I see (or feel) the world as a compound mixture of invisible fluctuations, waves and fields. They are hidden from our eyes, but we can feel them because we are a part of this gigantic construction called Universe. We are connected with each other by the endless number of intertwined fields. These fields superimpose on each other, penetrate through each other, and as result we live in a constantly changing and unstable world. The only thing about the real life objects that can be considered more or less certain is their logical structure, the basis of their construction on an atomic or subatomic level.

I wouldn't say that what I draw is the actual structure of objects. Mostly it is how I see the world we live in - all its connections between objects, the logical structure of these objects. Frankly, I can't explain why I see it in this way, it is beyond my understanding. You can probably call it an act of meditation, connection with noosphere and snapping its images off. So if you think that my paintings look a little bit weird, don't be surprised - they look weird to me too :)
