Photography

Even though photography has never been my main source of income or full-time occupation, it has always been a big part of my life. The magic of transformation of an ordinary and unnoticed by most people reality into something beautiful on photo images still amazes me like some kind of alchemy. After all these years, including the period of discovery the endless possibilities of digital photography, this process has still not lost its magic. In addition to the fact that photography gives you a powerful tool to express your artistic vision, it is also a very practical and versatile instrument for advertising and promotion. Therefore, I widely use it in my business. I can say that photography is not only an exciting hobby for me; it is a part of my job.

Random thoughts...

Photography is a practical form of the art, and at the same time it is a powerful tool for influencing people. This combination makes photography an ideal instrument for informing people about various aspects of life, catching their attention and promoting views, believes and ideas. Even more, it gives you power to show people the future, using a small piece of reality as an example of a result of ongoing transformation.

For me photography is the same as painting, it is the way of artistic conversion of reality into something that seems to be close to actuality, but in fact does not exist. My vision is that people mostly live by their memories. Everything we have is our past. All our knowledge, our feelings, and our plans for the future - everything is based on our previous life experience: what we did, what we have learned, how we felt... And the photos taken during our past life play the role of a diary, where you write your notes about what happened to you, about your feelings, thoughts and your mood. I believe that if you have happy memories it means you have a happy life. If you have a lot of memories it means you have a very interesting life. Thus your photos should be exciting, full of joy and delightfulness about what happened to you.

My belief is based on the idea that the process of photography is a transformation of reality surrounding us into an image that reflects your mood and feelings tied to that moment of reality. We can't freeze a moment and keep it forever, but we are able to create a visual image, which would lead us to the same mood and bring the same feelings out of us. I have been creating endless series of such images-memories during my life, since I first got a camera. Here they are. I am happy to share them with you.
