Vladimir Riabinin
I see a city as a living organism. It grows, declines, comes back to life and repeats this cycle endlessly. One thing is clear: a city is always changing. New buildings replace old ones. New people arrive with their own culture and habits, reshaping the city to suit themselves and often erasing what came before. This is natural. This is life.
My goal is to capture the city as it is today. I want to feel its rhythm, understand its people and sense their moods, so its present moment can be preserved. Creating portraits of cities is, in my view, a truly fascinating genre.
